Our Wedding

Anthony was working for a general contractor in Louisiana as a project manager in late 2020. While there he accidently found a love for endurance sports when he joined a gym that had an influential triathlon community. In that short time, he made lifelong friends that he left behind for the next chapter of his life. He was relocated from New Orleans, Louisiana to work on a project in Auburn, Alabama in early 2021 and was excited to find a community like the one he left. Barrett was living in Auburn, Alabama finishing up her senior year in 2021 and getting ready to graduate with her degree in accounting the following year. While completing her undergrad at Auburn, she found her passion for health and fitness and received her personal and group fitness certification in 2019. She took a job at F45 training during her junior year of college. In Anthony's search for a fitness community in Auburn, he began his strength training at F45 training in June of 2021, where Barrett had been working as a trainer. Barrett was immediately drawn to his drive and quiet manner, but she didn't catch Anthony's eye until November of that year. One morning in the gym before Thanksgiving break Anthony talked Barrett into signing up for a half-marathon. During break, Anthony and Barrett began talking more and made plans to mountain bike at Chewacla State Park the week after returning home. Anthony showed Barrett the "excitement" of mountain biking, and the two decided to extend their date and have dinner together that night. Fast forward to January, Barrett was leaving to move to Mobile, Alabama where she would complete her internship in order to finish her undergraduate program. She was to move back to Auburn in March, and the two stayed in contact during her internship. Barrett came back to run the War Eagle half marathon with Anthony, and they decided to become exclusive in February of 2022. After Barrett moved back, Anthony decided to take another job with Bailey-Harris Construction to stay in the Auburn area, and Barrett took a position with Carr, Riggs and Ingram that would keep her local as well. Anthony purchased a home in Dadeville, Alabama in November of 2023, and in February of 2024, they decided to get their first fur baby together, a fox red Labrador Retriever that they named Trooper. In October of 2024, while on a fall trip to the mountains of south-western Virginia to visit her grandparents, Anthony asked Barrett to be his wife. The two were out for a morning walk enjoying the cooler weather, when Anthony pulled out a ring. After venue hunting and the search for the perfect time of year, Anthony and Barrett have decided to have their wedding ceremony at Vestavia Hills Methodist Church, Barrett's childhood church and home on December 6th of 2025.
